What you will do

• Design and implement well-architected software solutions across the Starship Quality team.
• Translate ambiguous problems into clear software deliverables and implement them efficiently.
• Develop and maintain ERP software and data reporting tools to improve quality processes.
• Collaborate closely with Build and Flight Reliability Engineers to identify critical project scope.
• Provide technical training and support to peers and influence team direction.
• Own all aspects of software engineering and product development within the team.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee to comply with ITAR regulations.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or science discipline with 4+ years professional software development experience, or 6+ years without degree.
• 3+ years programming experience in C#.NET, Java, Python, or similar languages.
• 3+ years experience building fullstack applications including front-end frameworks like Angular or React.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and in-stream data processing technologies like Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
• Ability to work extended hours or weekends depending on launch cadence.

Nice to have

• Experience with continuous integration, build, deployment, monitoring, and application performance profiling.
