What you will do

• Create, maintain, and troubleshoot software tools and automated tests supporting checkout operations.
• Lead design, development, and implementation of new software projects.
• Review and improve existing tools and processes for efficiency and reliability.
• Develop scalable, secure software following object-oriented principles.
• Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and management to optimize workflows.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee due to ITAR regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, math, or science or 2+ years professional coding experience.
• 1+ years experience with Python, JavaScript, SQL, and Linux.
• Ability to work onsite in Hawthorne, CA, including extended hours and weekends as needed.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Strong software development skills including testing, debugging, and continuous integration.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Agile, Test-Driven Development, and Continuous Integration.
• Experience with vehicle test and flight operation processes.
• Knowledge of aerospace instrumentation.
