What you will do

  • Lead and mentor the AI engineering team, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Establish AI architecture and technical strategy for Project Sirius.
  • Develop strategic plans including resource allocation and technology roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with art, animation, design, and engineering teams to align AI with creative vision.
  • Drive standards for clean, efficient, and maintainable C++ code.
  • Proactively identify and resolve technical issues to ensure polished gameplay systems.

Requirements

  • Must be located in Boston or eligible for remote work within specified US states.
  • At least 7 years of professional experience in game engineering and leadership roles.
  • Experience with AAA console game development, debugging, and profiling.
  • Strong knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 AI and navigation systems.
  • Expertise in C++, multiplayer synchronization, and game systems architecture.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-disciplinary collaboration.
