Principal (Onchain Investments): Lead end-to-end investments in onchain domains including thesis development, sourcing, evaluation, and portfolio management with an accent on DeFi and onchain innovation. Focus on driving novel investment strategies, supporting portfolio companies, and informing product strategy through special projects.

Location: Hybrid with required in-person participation throughout the year

Salary: $193,970–$228,200 USD annually plus bonus, equity, and benefits

What you will do

• Lead investments end to end from thesis development, category mapping, sourcing, evaluating, closing, and supporting portfolio companies
• Publish thought leadership and serve as subject matter expert in technical domains such as DeFi
• Drive novel onchain investment strategies and support liquid portfolio management
• Lead special projects to inform product strategy and enhance the hirify.global Ventures platform

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience at a top-tier firm
• Deep passion and expertise in onchain domains
• Strong investment judgment and critical reasoning skills
• Excellent analytic, problem solving, and communication skills
• BA/BS degree
• Excellent founder-facing communication and empathy
