What you will do

• Serve as the highest technical escalation point for Rubrik backup incidents and issues.
• Architect and implement Rubrik backup solutions across hybrid, on-premises, and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Lead backup and recovery strategy design sessions including ransomware-resilient architectures.
• Integrate Rubrik with external systems using REST APIs and automation tools like Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Manage large-scale Rubrik clusters, capacity planning, and software upgrades.
• Provide technical mentoring and guidance to junior engineers and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Must be located in India with ability to work 24/7 shift rotation.
• Minimum 18-20 years IT infrastructure experience with at least 4 years hands-on Rubrik expertise.
• Expertise in Rubrik CDM architecture, VMware, cloud-native backups, and automation scripting.
• Strong knowledge of disaster recovery design, data compliance, and ransomware defense.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and executive audiences.

Nice to have

• Rubrik Certified System Administrator (RCSA) or similar certifications.
• VMware VCP, AWS, or Azure certifications.
