What you will do

• Own end-to-end architecture for the market data suite ensuring scalability and maintainability
• Drive technical planning, sprint scoping, and cross-functional alignment with product teams
• Mentor senior and mid-level engineers and uphold engineering best practices
• Set standards for code quality, observability, and performance
• Collaborate on roadmap priorities and product evolution
• Implement backend services with a focus on reliability and scalability

Requirements

• 10+ years backend engineering experience with 4+ years in lead roles
• Proven experience designing and scaling distributed systems, preferably in Go
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, TCP/IP, UDP, Linux/BSD, and shell scripting
• Strong communication skills and experience mentoring engineers
• Passion for financial markets and fintech domain
