What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain backend services powering core products and platforms.
• Develop event-driven systems using Go, Kafka, and Temporal or similar orchestration tools.
• Build scalable microservices in containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Drive architecture decisions to improve performance, resiliency, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Own production code, monitor, debug, and continuously improve service performance and reliability.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid work in Baku
• 5+ years backend development experience in Go or similar language.
• 2+ years experience with Kafka or equivalent streaming platforms.
• Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and event-based communication.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Temporal or Cadence.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with analytical databases like ClickHouse or Postgres.
• Background in gaming, payments, or commerce systems.
• Experience with internal platforms or developer-facing tools.
