What you will do

• Manage virtualization platforms and physical infrastructure including VMware, Windows, and Linux systems.
• Maintain IT infrastructure systems on-premises, off-site, and as-a-service (e.g., Microsoft 365).
• Ensure availability, reliability, performance, and security of servers, storage, and networked systems.
• Implement and enforce compliance controls related to CMMC, SOC2, or other frameworks.
• Proactively monitor and troubleshoot system issues, providing advanced resolution.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align infrastructure with organizational and compliance goals.

Requirements

• Location: Must be onsite in Syracuse, NY
• 6+ years experience in Windows and Linux systems administration.
• Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware.
• Experience with compliance frameworks like CMMC, SOC2, or NIST 800-171.
• Excellent troubleshooting, performance tuning, and documentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field is desired.
