What you will do

• Lead engineering and architecture of a federated, metadata-driven data platform supporting real-time and batch workloads.
• Define and implement contract-driven data pipelines and policy-as-code frameworks for data governance.
• Enable data mesh adoption across 300+ domain teams with governance and operational blueprints.
• Build AI/ML infrastructure foundations including feature stores, model monitoring, and lineage tracking.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and executive sponsors to shape engineering strategy and delivery.
• Drive GenAI enablement with LLM-based copilots and real-time inference patterns.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Bangalore, India or able to work hybrid there
• 12–15 years engineering experience with 5+ years leading platform or data infrastructure teams.
• Proven experience delivering internal data platforms supporting batch and streaming data.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, contract testing, and schema evolution workflows.
• Familiarity with Apache Iceberg, Kafka, Airflow, OpenMetadata, MLflow, Feast, and related tools.
• Experience building or scaling ML platform components is a major plus.
