What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain the Poe iOS app within a small mobile engineering team
• Develop new user-facing features and contribute to the Poe product roadmap
• Create tools and infrastructure to accelerate mobile development
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve user experience
• Own the full software development lifecycle from estimation to release

Requirements

• Availability for meetings during Quora's coordination hours (Mon-Fri 9am-3pm Pacific Time)
• 6+ years of experience in consumer-facing iOS app development
• Expertise in Swift, iOS frameworks, and mobile engineering best practices
• Strong creative mindset and high attention to detail in performance and UI
• Ability to build scalable mobile architecture and infrastructure
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment and continuous learning

Nice to have

• Passion for AI and emerging technologies
• Experience with SwiftUI
• Knowledge of Python, TypeScript, JavaScript
• Experience with GraphQL
