What you will do

• Design, build, and modernize backend services and APIs supporting ad delivery.
• Work on scalable, high-availability systems within hirify.global’s ads ecosystem.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data teams to deliver new features.
• Improve performance, observability, and cost-efficiency of backend systems by modernizing legacy technology.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical direction of the platform.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Montreal, Canada.
• Experience building backend services at scale.
• Proficiency in Golang and relational databases such as MySQL.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and observability tools like Kubernetes and Ray.
• Understanding of API design, distributed systems, and system reliability.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills in a remote-first team environment.
• English: Sufficient professional verbal and written proficiency required.
• No relocation support or work visa sponsorship available.
