What you will do

• Lead design and development of AI-powered customer support products and features from inception to production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, data scientists, and engineers to identify impactful AI opportunities.
• Develop, productionize, and operate machine learning models and pipelines at scale for batch and real-time use cases.
• Build scalable AI workflow orchestration and platform-native case management systems.
• Mentor engineers and promote ML application as a core discipline across teams.
• Drive architectural requirements and build robust testing frameworks for ML infrastructure.

Requirements

• Must live in an approved US state where hirify.global Payments, Inc. is registered.
• PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related technical field.
• 10+ years experience building and shipping AI models and products; 2+ years with GenAI.
• 10+ years leadership experience guiding ML and AI projects as a senior individual contributor.
• Deep knowledge of ML best practices, algorithms, and domains including NLP, computer vision, personalization, and anomaly detection.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI automation and agentic solutions.
• Familiarity with agile practices for AI product development lifecycle.
