What you will do

• Lead software architecture planning, design, implementation, and verification including code reviews and mentoring team members.
• Analyze customer, system, and safety requirements to derive and document software architecture requirements.
• Collaborate with product owners and suppliers to understand requirements and influence design.
• Support quote activities and proof of concept related to software architecture.
• Ensure compliance with automotive standards such as A-SPICE and functional safety (ISO26262).
• Interface with customers and internal teams to resolve issues and improve software performance.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Bangalore, India
• B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/MSc in Electronics, Computer Science or related field.
• 14+ years of embedded software product development experience.
• Experience in software architecture definition and implementation within product development.
• Experience with embedded microcontrollers, QNX, FreeRTOS, Linux Embedded, or VxWorks.
• Experience with UML architectural design tools such as Enterprise Architect.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with configuration management tools and MISRA standards.
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet, FlexRay).
• Knowledge of software static analysis and requirements analysis tools.
• Understanding of functional safety concepts and their impact on software development.
