What you will do

• Maintain, support, and enhance multiple ElasticSearch instances including upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Design and develop scalable, high-performance data pipelines and storage solutions.
• Develop and maintain observability frameworks using Kibana, Grafana, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define observability and search requirements.
• Scale and maintain development and production platforms on AWS and GCP.
• Evangelize new technologies and best practices within and outside the team.

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work in Berlin, Germany or relocate with support.
• 5+ data nodes ElasticSearch cluster administration experience.
• Experience with Kafka, Logstash, Beats, Kibana, Elastic Agent, and queuing systems like SQS, ActiveMQ, or Kinesis.
• Proficiency in PHP, Python, and/or Java programming languages.
• 4+ years Linux/Unix DevOps experience with AWS expertise and CI/CD pipeline creation using Jenkins.
• Experience with Docker orchestration engines and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
