Senior Director Product Management (Fintech)

What you will do

• Lead and support key projects from original concept through final implementation, often simultaneously.
• Work closely with product managers, sales, and client service to obtain and document business requirements, and maintain project documentation.
• Act as a Project Manager on certain projects, engaging with engineering and QA teams throughout the software life cycle.
• Assist in managing overall project governance by creating and maintaining project schedules, and help manage internal project communications.
• Assess clients’ issues and challenges, suggesting areas of improvement and defining proposed solutions.
• Take ownership of critical issues, enlisting proper representation from other support teams and drive towards resolution.

Requirements

• 5+ years of business analyst/product owner experience preferred.
• Prior experience writing business requirements, user stories, or functional specifications preferred.
• Prior experience working in the Financial Services Industry, especially relating to syndicated or direct lending.
• Ability to prioritize effectively, multitask, and manage time appropriately.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including a strong track record of cross-team and cross-client team participation.
• BS/BA degree in Business, Technology, or related field.
