What you will do

• Architect and optimize inference systems for high-volume, low-latency, and high-availability environments.
• Lead acquisition and automation of performance benchmarks at micro and macro scales.
• Introduce new techniques and tools to improve performance, latency, throughput, and efficiency.
• Build tools to identify bottlenecks and design solutions to address instability.
• Collaborate with ML researchers, engineers, and product managers to integrate cutting-edge technologies.
• Mentor and guide team members fostering collaboration and innovation.

Requirements

• Location: Must reside in or be open to relocating to Paris or London.
• Extensive experience in C++ and Python with backend and performance optimization focus.
• Deep understanding of modern ML architectures and inference performance optimization.
• Experience with large-scale distributed, performance-critical systems.
• Familiarity with PyTorch, TensorRT, CUDA, NCCL, and CI/CD principles.
• Leadership and mentoring skills with a results-oriented mindset.
