What you will do

• Lead the design and management of data science solutions within projects.
• Leverage data and domain knowledge to solve business problems and create quantifiable value.
• Define problem statements, collect data, build analytical models, and design solutions cross-functionally.
• Build, maintain, or lead the development of data-driven optimization models, experiments, forecasting algorithms, and capacity constraint models.
• Lead teams in delivering models using MLOps best practices.
• Communicate final recommendations and support decision-making.

Requirements

• Work Format: Onsite in Cairo, Egypt. May require international travel.
• Degree in an analytical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics).
• 4-5 years of project experience as a Data Scientist.
• Scripting proficiency with Python.
• Experience with packages like NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, matplotlib, and tensorflow/pytorch.
• Professional experience with Java, Scala, or Spark.
• Experience working with and leading teams in a project environment, delivering projects using MLOps best practices.

Nice to have

• 1+ years of SQL experience.
• Experience in distribution-based architectures such as Cloudera, AWS, Microsoft Azure Cloud, and GCP.
• Knowledge of Data Governance.
