LAPP Engineer

Location: Hybrid role based in Sofia, Bulgaria

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications and infrastructure using the LAPP stack.
• Write efficient PHP code and develop API scripts for system interoperability.
• Manage network design, security, and performance using Arxview.
• Create and maintain automation programs using Visual Basic.
• Document solution architecture and development processes using Jira and Confluence.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across web platforms and network infrastructure.

Requirements

• Must be based in Sofia, Bulgaria or able to work in a hybrid capacity
• Proven experience with the LAPP stack (Linux, Apache, PHP, PostgreSQL)
• Proficiency in PHP and web application development
• Experience with JSON and API scripting
• Competence in Visual Basic for scripting and automation
• Solid understanding of network design, security best practices, and architecture

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Python or JavaScript
• Experience with cloud infrastructure deployment
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tools
• Relevant certifications in Linux administration or network design
