Java Developer (Software Development): Developing and modernizing Java code for a major platform with an accent on application architecture transformation towards cloud technology. Focus on designing technical solutions, conducting tests, and collaborating in an international agile environment.

Location: Hybrid (Sofia)

What you will do

Collaborate with international team members on software development projects.
Develop and refactor Java code on the main platform.
Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies.
Conduct unit, package, and performance tests to ensure quality.
Support customers by debugging existing solutions.
Produce necessary software documentation.

Requirements

Solid Java expertise (Java 8 and above).
Good knowledge of Java FX, Swing, JSP, servlets, and relational databases.
Experience with JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Maven.
Comfortable working in a distributed agile environment.
Good level of written and oral English.

Nice to have

Knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu/SUSE) and Docker.
Experience with Jenkins pipeline configuration.
Good level of written and oral German.
