What you will do

• Design, rig, and animate the mascot Milo with a wide range of emotes and actions.
• Create and maintain a reusable animation library for various gamified contexts.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to enhance microinteractions and animated interfaces.
• Support marketing and communications with promotional animations and illustrations.
• Build and manage Rive state machines for interactive motion and ensure integration with development teams.

Requirements

• Strong portfolio demonstrating vector illustration and expressive 2D animation skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Rive, including state machines and interactivity.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator or equivalent vector design tools.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with designers and developers.
• English language proficiency at least B2 level.
• Location: Flexible remote with Sydney office for hybrid work.

Nice to have

• Experience designing for education, games, or youth-focused digital products.
• Familiarity with Figma and After Effects for animation prototyping.
