What you will do

• Build and operate cloud-native network infrastructure components such as service mesh, load balancers, and cross-region gateways.
• Collaborate with open source communities (e.g., Istio) and internal teams to enhance network performance and security.
• Design multi-region network architectures on public clouds and develop operational tools for production network management.
• Work with product and engineering teams to optimize network performance for hirify.global services.
• Lead infrastructure initiatives including global traffic load balancing and disaster recovery.

Requirements

• Fluency in English is required.
• Must be located in Brazil.
• 5+ years of software development experience in high-growth tech environments.
• Expertise in virtual network architecture on public clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure) and network services.
• Experience with large-scale networking systems and software such as edge proxies, DNS, CDN, and network gateways.
• Strong ownership of building and operating high-scale distributed systems.

Nice to have

• Experience working with Istio and Envoy.
• Previous leadership of on-call production infrastructure teams.
