What you will do

• Define and mature secure SDLC and application security program frameworks.
• Embed secure coding practices into development and backend platform engineering.
• Lead threat modeling and high-risk security reviews for major releases.
• Implement application security testing tools and manage CI/CD pipeline security.
• Perform and manage penetration testing efforts and vulnerability remediation.
• Provide security guidance to development teams and enforce organization-wide security guardrails.

Requirements

• Must have 5+ years in application security or secure architecture.
• Proven ability to influence senior engineering and product leadership.
• Experience with CI/CD security automation and secure coding practices.
• Strong understanding of web, API, and microservice security.
• Experience with Java and JavaScript.
• Penetration testing experience required.
• Location: Must be onsite in Bucharest, Romania.
