What you will do

• Frame real-world problems into ML problems using deep learning, reinforcement learning, and imitation learning.
• Develop novel methods to learn from unsupervised driving data using state-of-the-art techniques.
• Build data tooling and infrastructure to support experimentation.
• Use data-driven decision making to evaluate and compare approaches.
• Collaborate closely with perception, research, simulation, and evaluation teams.

Requirements

• Must be currently pursuing a Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Robotics, or related field
• Experience with deep learning concepts, reinforcement learning, and reward functions.
• Proficient in Python and deep learning frameworks.
• Ability to handle large datasets.
• Location: Hybrid onsite in Mountain View, California, United States

Nice to have

• Experience in autonomous driving domains such as motion planning, perception, or control.
• Experience integrating ML models into complex systems.
• Proficiency in C++.
• Experience with PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow.
