Senior PHP Developer

Location: Hybrid, with a workplace in Leiden, Netherlands

Develop advanced web applications and contribute to client systems and the Security Reporter in-house platform.

What you will do

• Design and develop advanced web applications and complex systems for high-end clients.
• Build and maintain the Security Reporter platform.
• Write accurate, structured, and reliable PHP code using established frameworks and development techniques.
• Identify vulnerabilities in PHP code and implement appropriate fixes.
• Collaborate with the team, contribute ideas, and translate creative concepts into working software.

Requirements

• Completed technical education at BSc, MSc, or PhD level.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Extensive knowledge of PHP and MVC, plus object-oriented programming experience.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Linux/Unix systems.
• Experience with frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, CakePHP, or Drupal.
• Passion for information security and a hacker mindset.
