Senior UI Programmer (C++)

Location: Onsite in Wrocław or Warszawa, Poland

hirify.global is a Polish video game company creating open-world action games, including the Call of Juarez and Dying Light franchises.

What you will do

• Implement and iterate on UI features for new games in collaboration with UX/UI designers, artists, and gameplay teams.
• Own the development of complex UI systems.
• Extend the proprietary UI framework and tools to support efficient content creation.
• Debug and optimize UI code for performance, responsiveness, stability, and cross-platform operation.
• Review code, share best practices, and mentor other programmers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of game development experience focused on UI implementation.
• Excellent knowledge of C++ and experience developing or maintaining complex UI systems.
• Experience collaborating with UX/UI designers.
• Ability to profile and optimize code for cross-platform performance.
• Passion for games, knowledge of current titles and trends, especially first-person perspective games.
• Very good command of English and willingness to work onsite in Poland.

Nice to have

• Computer science education.
• Experience with Unreal Engine or Unity.
• At least one shipped AAA title developed from start to finish.
• Experience mentoring programmers or refactoring large, complex systems.
