What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable code for the Oura iOS app.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including backend, firmware, and data science to deliver high-impact features.
• Contribute to the full development lifecycle from architectural design to release and maintenance.
• Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and platform-level improvements.
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.

Requirements

• Must be based in Finland with the ability to visit offices in Helsinki or Oulu.
• Professional experience shipping high-quality iOS applications.
• Strong proficiency in Swift with UIKit and modern iOS architectures.
• Experience with collaborative development, Git, and standard code review workflows.
• Strong focus on quality, including unit, UI, and manual testing.
• English: C1+ required (fluency in written and spoken).

Nice to have

• Experience with SwiftUI, Swift Structured Concurrency, or Combine.
• Background in performance optimization or systems architecture.
• Experience working with firmware teams or hardware-related projects.
• Knowledge of CoreBluetooth and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
• Experience in health, wellness, or fitness software development.
