What you will do

• Develop and scale a chatbot conversation engine handling millions of conversations daily.
• Design and build highly scalable and resilient workflow systems for automatic issue routing.
• Design and implement APIs for internal agent dashboards and external integrations.
• Collaborate with teams using distributed version control and functional programming paradigms.
• Benchmark system performance and implement failure detection mechanisms.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid work setup in Pune, Maharashtra, India
• 4+ years of medium/large scale server-side software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals and POSIX-compliant operating systems.
• Experience with Git and backend databases like MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience writing unit, functional, and regression tests; knowledge of generative testing preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of functional programming and Clojure.
• Experience with JVM-based systems.
• Experience benchmarking systems for performance and failure detection.
