What you will do

  • Design and optimize camera system services and middleware on QNX platforms.
  • Integrate camera frameworks, HAL layers, and ISP pipelines on automotive SoCs.
  • Develop POSIX-compliant camera control modules handling streaming and synchronization.
  • Collaborate with BSP, driver, and perception teams for camera sensor and ISP bring-up.
  • Analyze and enhance system performance, boot time, and memory usage for camera subsystems.
  • Participate in code reviews, system validation, and ensure compliance with ASPICE and ISO 26262 standards.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be onsite in Chennai, India
  • 4–10 years of embedded software development experience focused on camera systems or QNX automotive platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of QNX Neutrino RTOS, IPC, and memory management.
  • Proficiency in C/C++, multi-threading, and real-time data handling.
  • Experience with Qualcomm automotive SoCs and camera sensors/ISPs.
  • Understanding of safety-critical software and ISO 26262 preferred.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Android-QNX coexistence or virtualized camera subsystems.
  • Familiarity with communication frameworks like SOME/IP, D-Bus, and CAN.
