What you will do

• Develop fusion algorithms combining radar and camera data for object detection, tracking, and classification in parking and low-speed environments.
• Implement radar signal processing and camera image processing algorithms.
• Design sensor calibration and alignment pipelines for multi-camera and radar setups.
• Integrate perception results into 360° surround view systems and infotainment HMIs.
• Optimize algorithm performance for embedded SoCs considering latency and resource usage.
• Develop simulation models and support SIL/HIL validation and vehicle-level testing.

Requirements

• Location: Must be onsite in Chennai, India
• 5–10 years experience in ADAS radar and camera perception algorithm development.
• Strong knowledge of sensor fusion techniques and embedded real-time systems.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, Python, and C/C++.
• Experience with automotive communication protocols and ADAS calibration tools.
• Good communication skills and passion for learning aligned with hirify.global's mission.

Nice to have

• Experience with 360° surround view, parking assist, and low-speed automation features.
• Familiarity with digital cockpit platforms and SoCs like Qualcomm SA8295P and NVIDIA Orin.
• Knowledge of ROS2, OpenCV, TensorRT, and ISO 26262 safety standards.
• Experience with AI-based detection algorithms and HMI integration of perception overlays.
