What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated UI and functional test scripts for desktop applications using Robot Framework and Python.
• Collaborate with QA, development, and business teams to define testing scope and acceptance criteria.
• Execute automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects in a timely manner.
• Maintain and optimize the test automation framework to support regression and integration testing.
• Ensure full test coverage of critical banking workflows (e.g., payments, transactions, reporting).
• Contribute to continuous integration, continuous testing pipelines, test documentation and support testing best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in QA Automation
• Proven experience in test automation for desktop applications
• Strong knowledge of Python language
• Experience using Robot Framework for automation of desktop application tests
• Experience testing enterprise-scale applications, preferably in banking or financial services
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test design techniques and SDLC/STLC processes
• Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Azure DevOps)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
• Good communication skills in English (both written and spoken)
