Software Testing Engineer

Location: Not specified; hirify.global has locations in Bolzano/Bozen, Bergamo, Bologna, Munich, and Charlotte.

Total compensation: from €64,000 gross per year, including a 30% variable bonus based on goal achievement.

What you will do

• Design and develop software test cases according to test strategies and plans for chargers and their software modules.
• Execute manual and automated tests covering functionality, usability, and performance.
• Implement and improve software testing frameworks and testing infrastructure.
• Perform static code analysis and report improvement opportunities.
• Document test setups, test cases, and testing progress.

Requirements

• Degree in computer science, electronic engineering, mechatronics, or a related field.
• Professional experience as a software tester.
• Knowledge of software testing and test automation concepts.
• Experience with static code analysis and at least one testing framework.
• Fluent English required.
• Independent, precise working style with good communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• ISTQB certification or knowledge of automotive software quality standards.
• Experience with embedded systems and cybersecurity.
• Knowledge of Italian and/or German.
