What you will do

• Lead and manage infotainment software development teams across multiple domains including Android, QNX, middleware, connectivity, audio, and projection.
• Own project execution ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery of production-grade infotainment features.
• Collaborate with system architects, product owners, suppliers, and OEMs to align design and delivery milestones.
• Drive process excellence through ASPICE, Agile practices, CI/CD improvements, and metrics tracking.
• Provide technical mentoring, performance feedback, and career guidance to team members.
• Ensure compliance with safety, cybersecurity, and certification standards during development and validation.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or willing to work onsite in Chennai, India
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, or related field.
• 8–12 years of automotive infotainment software development experience with at least 3 years leading engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of Android Automotive OS, QNX/Linux, connected infotainment platforms, and automotive communication protocols.
• Familiarity with Qualcomm automotive platforms and DevOps/CI/CD tools.
• Awareness of ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434, and ASPICE maturity practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with OEM delivery cycles, change management, and release processes.
• Technical debugging skills using tools like adb, logcat, Wireshark, QXDM.
