What you will do

• Collaborate with game developers to analyze problems and gather requirements for backend solutions.
• Develop modular, flexible APIs and libraries for game backend services.
• Refactor legacy code to improve architecture and maintainability.
• Research and implement new approaches to accelerate game feature development.
• Extend ORM capabilities and optimize network and database interactions.
• Create and maintain developer documentation.

Requirements

• Must have 5+ years of C++ experience with knowledge of C++17+ standards and libraries
• Strong software design skills including design patterns and architecture principles.
• Experience in backend development on Linux, multithreading, networking protocols, and databases.
• Ability to design intuitive APIs and write maintainable code.
• Knowledge or willingness to learn Python and C# for utilities and SDK support.
• English proficiency at least B2 level

Nice to have

• Portfolio of code samples.
• Understanding of gaming industry and game development experience.
• Basic knowledge of cloud and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with additional programming languages.
