Salary: PLN30,900 - PLN43,000 gross monthly (Krakow, Poland), €7,500 - €9,500 gross monthly (Vilnius, Lithuania)

What you will do

• Improve existing algorithms for enhanced performance.
• Build new Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to explore innovative solutions.
• Deliver data-driven solutions to enhance product performance.
• Research and develop PoCs into scalable data products.
• Collaborate with product owners, engineers, and data scientists to solve complex data problems.

Requirements

• Experience building and leading a data science team within a scaling organization.
• Bachelor's/Master's/PhD in STEM (Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering).
• Solid knowledge of data science tools including Python, SQL, and production frameworks.
• Demonstrated knowledge of probability and statistics fundamentals.
• The ability to think strategically and diagnose problems accurately.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner with Product Owners and senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Masters or PhD).
• Experience with additional programming languages such as Java, Scala, or C++.
• Experience working in anti-fraud functions.
• Experience working at a large-scale global tech company.
• Participation in Olympiad competitions in Physics, Mathematics, Economics, or Programming at school or university level.
