What you will do

• Develop Python and JavaScript libraries and tools supporting hirify.global's localization infrastructure.
• Design and implement new features for the Pontoon Translation Management System across frontend and backend.
• Improve internationalization features within the Firefox codebase for better language and regional adaptability.
• Participate in discussions on internationalization and localization standards.
• Engage and support the global community of volunteer developers and localizers.
• Collaborate effectively with distributed teams across regions and time zones.

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work remotely from Spain
• Strong experience with Python and JavaScript web application development.
• Solid understanding of web technologies, APIs, and modern development workflows.
• Experience with internationalization (i18n) and localization (l10n) concepts and tools.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical roles.

Nice to have

• Fluency in another language and understanding of linguistic diversity.
• Experience with open source development and community collaboration.
• Programming experience in Rust and C++.
