What you will do
- Lead design and evolution of scalable Data Science, MLOps, and LLMOps tooling and platforms using AWS services including SageMaker and Bedrock.
- Drive adoption of Infrastructure as Code with AWS CDK and CloudFormation to build secure, maintainable cloud environments.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and AWS CodePipeline, promoting test-driven development and automated quality assurance.
- Integrate monitoring and observability tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana to ensure model health and platform stability.
- Collaborate with architects, engineering teams, and product stakeholders to shape long-term technical strategy and foster a culture of technical excellence through mentorship and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in or able to work hybrid from UK offices in London, Salford, Glasgow, Newcastle, or Cardiff
- Extensive experience in DevOps and MLOps with strong expertise in AWS cloud native environments and managing LLMs and generative AI models in production.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform and container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong skills in CI/CD best practices, GitOps workflows, and advanced DevOps concepts including progressive delivery and resilience engineering.
- Experience in cloud security, governance, and compliance with ability to lead cross-functional technical initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills and experience influencing technical direction across teams.
Nice to have
- Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Industry certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS GenAI Developer, or AWS Solutions Architect β Professional.
