What you will do

• Define and uphold animation vision and standards for League of Legends skins in collaboration with partner studios.
• Lead, mentor, and grow the animation team in Singapore as a center of excellence.
• Manage full lifecycle of animation team members including onboarding, performance development, and feedback.
• Provide actionable feedback to partner teams to ensure animation quality meets Riot’s standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Art, Rigging, Technical Art, VFX, and Production.
• Identify risks and communicate early to maintain sustainable delivery schedules.

Requirements

• Must be based in or relocate to Singapore.
• 7+ years professional animation experience in games, film, or character-driven content.
• 3+ years in a lead or supervisory role with strong mentorship skills.
• Deep mastery of animation fundamentals and experience with game engines like Unreal or Unity.
• Proven ability to manage partner studios and provide clear, cross-cultural communication.
• Fluent English required (spoken and written).

Nice to have

• AAA experience on stylized, character-focused games.
• Experience with procedural animation systems and technical animation blending.
• Familiarity with Maya, MotionBuilder, and custom animation pipelines.
• Multilingual skills (Mandarin or other regional languages).
