What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop cross-functional software engineering teams.
• Translate between product and engineering to ensure delivery of promised software.
• Set strategic direction and align engineering initiatives with company goals.
• Support individual growth and promote team ways of working, hiring, and training strategies.
• Act as a technically strong role model and be hands-on when needed.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Ho Chi Minh or willing to work onsite.
• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of hands-on software development experience with at least 2 years in people management.
• 2+ years leading multi-disciplinary Agile teams, preferably in product companies with banking, payments, or SaaS experience.
• Excellent English speaking, writing, and presentation skills.
• Good knowledge of Agile methodologies and technical practices like CI, automated testing, and release management.
