What you will do

• Lead cross-squad initiatives shaping key customer journeys from concept to shipped experience.
• Contribute small front-end UI changes to support rapid iteration and collaboration with engineering.
• Explore multiple solutions to complex UX challenges using rapid experimentation and AI-assisted workflows.
• Elevate visual language and interaction design ensuring consistency, accessibility, and delight.
• Mentor peers and contribute to team growth through critiques, async feedback, and documentation.
• Evolve the Pluma design system with reusable components and scalable patterns.

Requirements

• Location: Americas Remote
• 7+ years of professional experience designing digital products, preferably SaaS or complex web applications.
• Proven ability to lead multi-team design initiatives with measurable outcomes.
• Deep visual and interaction design expertise with strong eye for layout, hierarchy, motion, and accessibility.
• Systems thinker with experience building or scaling design systems.
• Fluency with front-end principles and understanding of technical constraints.
• Comfort with AI-enhanced tools and modern prototyping workflows.
• Excellent async communication skills and mentorship experience.

• Experience maintaining design systems at scale.
• Familiarity with motion design, micro-interactions, or 3D/visual storytelling.
• Background in data visualization or analytics-heavy design.
