What you will do
- Develop and execute comprehensive account and territory plans for the State and Local market.
- Drive sales to achieve revenue targets within a defined territory and account list.
- Create and articulate compelling value propositions for services.
- Manage contract negotiations and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in or able to work in the United States
- Minimum 3 years of experience selling technical solutions to the Public Sector (SLED, Federal Government, Municipalities).
- Experience managing longer, complex sales cycles.
- Basic understanding of computer networking and Internet technologies.
- Aptitude for learning technical concepts; technical background is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
Nice to have
- Technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS.
- Experience selling to SLED customer base.
