Senior Splunk Security Engineer (Cybersecurity): Developing and enhancing cybersecurity monitoring solutions focusing on protection and detection capabilities within managed services. Focus on leading customer assignments, threat modelling, and building scalable, efficient security services.

What you will do

  • Lead customer assignments from simple to complex deployment projects.
  • Conduct threat modelling exercises and collaborate with customer technical and security teams.
  • Drive continuous improvements in customer security environments.
  • Build scalable, efficient managed security services focusing on protection and detection.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance cybersecurity capabilities.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in Espoo, Finland.
  • 5+ years relevant experience with 2+ years practical experience in Splunk Enterprise Security SIEM.
  • Experience with medium-to-large scale system integrations and log collection technologies.
  • Exposure to threat modelling or DevSecOps practices.
  • Strong understanding of information security concepts and software engineering background.
  • Fluent English required for international communication.

Nice to have

  • Scripting/programming skills in PowerShell and Python.
  • Experience with Microsoft Sentinel SIEM and security stack.
  • Security certifications and Windows server administration.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory Security and modern DevOps practices.
  • Experience building scalable managed services in public cloud and Infrastructure-as-Code.
  • In-depth knowledge of OWASP.
