What you will do
- Own the systems-engineering lifecycle for the Lead Systems Integrator domain, including requirements, architecture, V&V, configuration, and risk management.
- Drive integration of hardware, software, AI/ML, cloud, and HMI subsystems to ensure mission-level performance.
- Lead cross-functional teams including SEIT, Innovation-Insertion, and Advisory Board activities.
- Support cloud and data-lake integration efforts within the Digital Production Environment.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, cutting-edge technology solutions.
- Work remotely with flexibility and participate in periodic onsite meetings as needed.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen with Secret security clearance.
- 8+ years systems engineering experience in aerospace/defense; 5+ years leading SEIT or system-of-systems initiatives on large programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field; MS preferred or equivalent experience.
- Experience with MBSE tools (Cameo, SysML), requirements management (DOORS NEXT, Polarion), and verification/test frameworks.
- AWS infrastructure knowledge and cloud-native interface understanding.
- Strong skills in configuration management, risk management, and system integration.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of AI/ML pipelines and their impact on system requirements and verification.
- Experience integrating MBSE data with AWS Glue Data Catalog and DOORS NEXT.
- Background in Command-and-Control and Unified HMI architectures.
- Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Professional, CISSP, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
