What you will do

  • Set strategic design direction aligned with product strategy and business goals.
  • Build design excellence by establishing quality standards and design principles.
  • Organize and optimize a team of about 13 designers for efficient collaboration and delivery.
  • Guide designers in solving ambiguous, high-impact challenges.
  • Champion inclusive design practices and accessibility requirements.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment with Product, Engineering, and Research leadership.

Requirements

  • Work remotely or hybrid within Switzerland or the UK.
  • 10+ years of design experience with SaaS or complex digital products.
  • Proven experience leading and developing design teams of 10+ designers.
  • Strong strategic thinking balancing user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills in English (fluent).
  • Expert-level proficiency with design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.

  • Experience fostering entrepreneurial culture and curiosity about emerging technologies like AI.
