What you will do

• Design, develop, and test high-quality, scalable Android applications and components.
• Lead the technical design and delivery of complex, multi-quarter projects.
• Mentor and coach other engineers through code reviews, pairing, and professional development.
• Promote mobile development best practices focusing on performance, UX, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and product managers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Improve code quality and establish SLAs to ensure system resiliency and scalability.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• 8+ years of professional mobile experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 6+ years with a Master's degree.
• Advanced proficiency in Kotlin or Java.
• Expert knowledge of Jetpack components, including Jetpack Compose and Android architecture patterns.
• Proven experience leading end-to-end technical design for complex, long-term mobile projects.
• Demonstrated history of mentoring and guiding engineering teams.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating Android applications with GraphQL APIs.
• Experience contributing to backend services (Java/Kotlin).
• Familiarity with 3rd party SDK and API integrations.
