Senior Network Engineer

What you will do

• Act as technical interface to clients for datacenter and cloud service delivery including IaaS, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Design, implement, troubleshoot, and maintain customer environments and infrastructure.
• Perform hardware/software installations, upgrades, and maintenance including after-hours support and on-call rotation.
• Support Level 2 and Level 3 engineers and act as escalation point for managed services.
• Plan and implement system automation to improve service efficiency.
• Create technical documentation and collaborate with teams to ensure quality deliverables.

Requirements

• Must have 10-14 years of IT experience with strong system engineering background.
• Experience with MPLS, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS), network virtualization, and firewalls.
• Prior customer service experience and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Proficient in Linux administration and virtualization technologies (vSphere, Hyper-V, NSX-T).
• Excellent communication skills and team player attitude.
• CCNP Service Provider certification required; VMware and cloud certifications are a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience with VMware vCloud Director, Zerto Virtual Replication, AWS, Azure.
• Automation and scripting skills (Ansible, Python, PowerShell).
