Lead Business Consultant (Fintech)

TL;DR

Lead Business Consultant (IBOR, Fintech): Implementing SimCorp Dimension® for major global financial institutions, focusing on Investment Book Of Records (IBOR) and related investment operations. Focus on understanding customer requirements, developing optimal solutions, and improving implementation best practices for asset managers, banks, and insurers.

Location: Toronto, Atlanta, Boston, New York. Can attend the SimCorp office 2x/week as per our hybrid policy. For NYC, 3x a week

Salary: The salary range for this position is $139,000 - 173,000 USD (New York City).

What you will do

• Responsibility for major parts of SimCorp Dimension® implementation projects.
• Close cooperation with the project manager and key role in developing projects to success.
• Gain understanding of Simcorp’s Global Standard Solutions and utilize them for project delivery.
• Key contact for our customers for all questions in connection with SimCorp Dimension®.
• Instruct and mentor less experienced colleagues on the job.
• Actively participate in know-how exchange with colleagues on an international level.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Analyst or (Implementation) Consultant for asset managers, asset owners, banks or consulting firms.
• Excellent know-how in at least two of the following areas: Asset Management – Back Office – or Financial Reporting, Consulting or Professional Services within the Asset Management sector.
• Asset Management candidates should have 3-5 years of experience working hands on with the investment operations function and related enterprise applications.
• Have Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English – both oral and written.
• Basic understanding of financial industry/products and related accounting.
• Ability to travel to client’s site (up to 50%).

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with SimCorp Dimension is a plus.
• Degree within Business discipline (Accounting, Finance, or Economics) or Mathematics/Applied Sciences preferred.
