TL;DR

Lead Support Developer (FinTech): Debugging and fixing C# & APL code for financial institutions globally, with an accent on providing high-quality code solutions and resolving system performance issues. Focus on understanding complex architecture, collaborating with consultants and developers, and ensuring system stability.

Location: Hybrid working arrangement (2x a week in office) in Manila, Philippines. Occasional weekend/Public Holiday work and extended hours might be required.

What you will do

  • Debug C# & APL code and develop suitable fixes for crashes and erroneous code.
  • Collaborate with business consultants and developers to resolve customer issues.
  • Assist business consultants by analyzing existing code functionality.
  • Investigate and resolve system performance issues related to C# & APL modules.
  • Replicate client-observed issues in internal installations for debugging and analysis.
  • Act as an important interface between Support teams and the Central Product Department.

Requirements

  • 7 - 10+ years of C#.Net experience, including Winforms.
  • Experience supporting desktop applications.
  • Strong tracing, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read, understand, and analyze complex code.
  • Interest in working with complex front- and back-end architecture.
  • English: B2 required.

Nice to have

  • Good understanding of a functional programming language like APL or Haskell.
  • Knowledge or high interest in financial issues (theoretical and practical).
