What you will do

• Maintain and develop Linux applications for unmanned aircraft systems.
• Design and document system architecture and interfaces between teams.
• Integrate hardware and third-party software into Linux platforms.
• Write and execute unit, integration, functional, and acceptance tests.
• Analyze flight logs and debug software/hardware issues.
• Maintain build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and manage software releases.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Kyiv or ready to relocate
• English: Intermediate+ (B2) required
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years experience in Linux software development, preferably embedded or robotics.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and solid understanding of Linux internals.
• Experience with cross-compilation, Yocto, Buildroot, debugging tools, and CI/CD.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, UAV, or automotive industries.
• Familiarity with middleware standards like DDS, MAVLink, CAN, Ethernet.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and virtualization.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development and real-time Linux or safety-critical software.
