What you will do

• Build highly available, secure, distributed microservice systems in a complex logistics domain.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain systems representing real-world logistics entities.
• Collaborate with engineers and business partners to solve complex technical and business problems.
• Rapidly build and launch products with frequent production deployments.
• Maintain high-quality standards by monitoring metrics and applying learnings from post-mortems.
• Engage deeply with shipping and logistics domain challenges.

Requirements

• Location: Must be onsite in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China
• 3+ years software development experience with strong engineering background.
• 2+ years design and architecture experience with object-oriented analysis and design patterns.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Ruby, C, C++, Java, or Kotlin.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Aptitude for quick learning and problem solving.

Nice to have

• Experience building large-scale, high-performance distributed systems.
• Understanding of performance tradeoffs, load balancing, and operational issues.
• Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices including code reviews, continuous deployment, and testing.
• Ability to communicate technical ideas effectively to diverse stakeholders.
