What you will do

• Create and maintain clear, accurate product documentation and release notes.
• Review and refine customer-facing content including UI text and error messages.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and technical writers using a docs-as-code approach.
• Improve documentation quality by ensuring technical accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
• Contribute to documentation standards, style guides, and templates.
• Act as a writing resource and mentor for other teams and writers.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Bengaluru, India with hybrid work model (two days in office weekly)
• English: B2 level or higher required
• 8+ years of experience documenting databases or cloud applications for US-centric audiences.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, database schemas, permissions, and procedures.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), data pipelines (ETL/ELT), and replication techniques.
• Proficiency in scripting, automation, and AI tools to enhance documentation workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with globally distributed technical writing teams and enterprise-grade products.
• Familiarity with Agile environments and docs-as-code tools like GitHub, Markdown, CLI, and HTML.
• Experience with major database platforms such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
